The Fort Bragg Welcome Sign makes me cringe every time I go to town. It is beautiful, a work of art really, but at that location, you're already a half mile inside the city limits of Fort Bragg.
But what really makes me nuts, the sign depicts a western visage but you must face east to see it.
I suggest the sign be moved to the intersection of Hwy 1 & 20 with a north-south orientation, it would be at the southern edge of the city limit and the ocean wouldn't be on the east side of the road.
Just a thought...
