Description

Need Female Fishing Friend (Gainesville, FL) compensation: $5/hr I want to find a young, slender pretty female who will go fishing with me. Ages 20 to 30. This is not an ad for an escort. I have never been arrested for anything. I don't want to take someone fishing who has a criminal record or a substance abuse problem. I have not received a speeding ticket for about 20 years. I will buy you a salt water fishing license. You will need to bring your Florida Drivers License. They will not sell you a fishing license if you cannot produce a drivers license. A Florida drivers license. If you have an out of state drivers license, they will charge a whole lot of money for the fishing license. Your new salt water fishing license will be good for one year. It will be issued in your name and it will be your property. I will bring all the rods, reels, bait, etc. Please bring a good attitude. Please send me a 4-5 photos of you. Just a simple couple of selfies would be great. I don't care about colored hair or anything. I am not a big fan of facial tattoos or lots of metal jewelry hanging from you nose. I will furnish bottled water, Gatorade, drinks etc. You should bring a snack you like, a sandwich, something easy to eat. I usually get myself a sub from Publix. I don't drink alcohol while boating. Alcohol and boating are not a good combination. When the game warden stops us to check our licenses, they look in the boat for empty beer cans and that kind of thing. You don't need to know how to fish. If you want me to, I will bait your hook, and take the fish off the hook. If you want to, you can do that yourself. You don't need to know how to cast, just letting your hook and sinker drop to the bottom and then raising your rig a few feet off the bottom is good enough. We will fish over some rocky bottom (called Structure) where fish like to hang out. We will use a hook called "Circle Hooks". When the fish takes the bait, the rush off with the bait and circle hook in their mouth. The Circle Hook slides over to the side of their mouth and the Circle Hook automatically hooks the fish. The only fish that is good at circumventing Circle Hooks are Sheepshead. They will steal your bait and you won't feel a thing. Here is what you will need to bring- Shorts, a hat, a bathing suit (top and bottom), a long sleeve shirt that you can put on over your bathing suit top that will keep you from getting sunburned, a towel and some shoes that you don't mind getting wet are all you need to bring. If you don't have sunscreen, I have some or we can pick some up on the way over. I wear a bathing suit and a long sleeve shirt (to protect my skin from the sun). It's fun to jump overboard and swim in the Gulf offshore where the water is very clear and nice. There is a small changing room/bathroom on the boat. The toilet is a toilet seat on top of a five gallon bucket. It's not much, the "bathroom" on the boat is small and super private. You can always just jump overboard if you need to pee. There is nothing wrong with peeing in the Gulf of Mexico. Dilution works just fine. I prefer emails more than texts, and texts more than phone calls. Please respond using the CraigsList email system or text me if you want the gig. Serious candidates should be able to commit to going fishing on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Thank you for reading my ad. I have a very nice 22 footlong offshore fishing boat with a 250 horsepower Yamaha Motor that has very few hours on it. I pull the boat with a very nice huge, 4 wheel drive almost new 4 Wheel Drive SUV. The boat is unsinkable (it has a ton of foam inside the closed sections of the boat). I have all the appropriate safety equipment aboard the boat. I like for everyone on board to wear a special life preserver that is sort of like wearing a thin vest. It self inflates when it gets wet. I also have the appropriate safety equipment on board including an anchor and lots of anchor chain and rope, a paddle, a Coast Guard radio that calls the Coast Guard in the Tampa area (you don't push that call button unless you want to have a Coast Guard helicopter from the Tampa Coast Guard station hovering overhead in short order), an emergency flare gun with flares, an emergency First Aid medicine kit, sound signaling devices including an air horn (that is VERY loud) and a whistle, a handheld radio, Life jackets and wearable Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) for everyone on board, one or two "Throwable" flotation devices, 2-3 Fire Extinguishers, a Bailing device (a bucket to dewater the boat if needed to stay afloat), Oars or paddles if the engine quits, a Cellphone to call for help, a VHF radio to call for help, a sharp Knife to cut a rope that might get wrapped around a fouled propeller, a Snorkel mask to inspect what’s going on under the boat (if needed), a couple of Heavy duty flashlights, a "Diver Down Flag", a weather radio and so on. The boat has a very powerful electric bilge pump and all of the appropriate running lights required for night time boating. The boat has a very sophisticated "Chart Plotter" that has a GPS unit and an internal map that tells you how to get to the hot fishing reefs and get back to the boat ramp. The Chart Plotter also shows the depth of the water, any "Structure" beneath the boat such as a reef or "shelf), any fish in the water underneath the boat, the type of bottom underneath the boat (hard bottom, muddy/soft bottom, etc) and the temperature of the water. It is the nicest boat I have ever owned. Over the years I have owned about twenty different trailerable outboard motor boats. Most of them have been what you call a "Beater Boat". When people in a nice boat see a Beater Boat approaching, they often feel a bit nervous that the Beater Boat might hit their boat and mar the outside of their very nice boat. I am 70 years old and have been driving motor boats since I was a little kid. I have never sunk a boat or run into another boat except for once when I was a kid and body got hurt. We were having an orange war and we had a very slight collision. I don't always catch fish.It is more about being on the water and going fishing. They call it "Fishing". They don't call it "Catching". It's fun even if you don't catch any "Keepers". The boat has a built in live well that pumps in clean aerated water to keep the live shrimp or live minnows alive. We will have enough ice on board in a "Yeti" ice chest to quickly ice down any "Keepers" that are of legal size. The boat also has very large coolers built into the boat if we catch a really large fish. Having a fish on board that is out of season or is too short or is too long Is illegal and a huge No No. The Game Wardens almost always check ice coolers to see what you have caught. Violating the rules regarding the species and size of fish that you are allowed to keep is a very serious offense that can result in a severe fine and in the loss of your fishing license. We will not have any "Shorts" on board. "Shorts" are fish that are not long enough to meet the fishing regulations. Having a "Short" on board can result in a serious financial penalty. I often release the fish that I catch even if they meet all the rules and regulations. I like to think that the fish I caught awarded me with a fun catch and releasing them gives me or someone else a chance to catch them at a later date. Red Fish are such beautiful fish, I like to let them go. It makes me feel good about me.
