JOB DESCRIPTION IRON INSTALLER POSITION SUMMARY: The Iron Install is responsible for the success of iron installation in the field. He/she will be responsible for working with internal and external colleagues in a way that best promotes efficient operations of the Iron Division. Majority of work will be in the Iron Shop as installs are scheduled upon completion of product. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS: Welding/fabricating Read and interpret project plans and specifications Operate power tools, grinder, band saw, drill and impacts Must read tape measure accurately Take charge of a crew and lead them through an efficient and successful install Have a clear vision of the end product in mind Plan ahead to make the installation as efficient as possible Follow quality control program in the field and shop KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 year Welding experience Minimum 1 year experience with ADA code for installing steel railings Have a sense of urgency Ability to work safely Ability to travel to hob sites and work a flexible schedule when needed
