Greetings, internet people/trolls/bot! I finally bought my first home - she's midcentury with great bones and potential. I've put in so many hours and the home is ~80% finished. I'm so close... my dream and vision are finally coalescing! Here's the hitch though: I've used up most of my vacation leave, my puppy is getting bored of me always working, and my family is concerned that I bit off more than I can chew. As a public servant, I can't afford to hire out jobs - but I have a bunch of little odd jobs I need to wrap up before can live in my house - not in the basement feeding the spiders :/ The person I envision hiring is basically a (retired) dad or grandpa. You might be bored and miss tinkering on things, interested in some side cash, or would simply like to help a young guy with a good heart to actualize his dream. I'm so close guys!! I finally have my own beautiful workshop to start tinkering in - as soon as I can get the house done. I work from home 8-5 M-F. I'm hoping to find someone who might want to come over for a couple hours a day (for instance) to do things like: masking/painting/installing a vanity/working on cars. I can do all these things and was planning doing so. If you can too, we'd probably get along! No tweakers please, sorry. I was thinking I'd put together a list of tasks and we could agree on prices and you putter along on them at your leisure while I do my office work M-F. Thanks for reading!
