Hi, I am a singer-songwriter who recently moved to chicago. I have recorded a couple records and want to write and record and play new material which is still in the works. I am looking to jam one night a week, or on the weekend with other musicians, ideally drums, bass, keys, banjo?, pedal steel? The sound I am looking for is blues rock, country-ish, singer-songwriter. Think van morrison, tom petty, blazy foley. mellencamp, something along those lines. I am open to pay for a 2 hour session at the music garage on a weeknight or weekend, once a week, and see what starts to form. Then i'd be interested in light gigs, 1-2 a month, and recording if we desired. This is for fun, and the desire is to make great music.
