RV Technician/Apprentice/driver Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform pre-delivery inspection - Prepare check out sheet for vehicle to go out on set Assemble RV structure, wall, and roof, fresh water/waste plumbing Perform basic welding tasks Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain RV appliances, LPG system, A/C system, Install electrical wiring and balance electrical load and entertainment and satellite systems (Winegard, Motosat, Kingdone) Build, install, repair, and maintain cabinetry Install, repair, and maintain braking and towing systems Plain workload according to oral and written directions and complete assignments on or before the scheduled completion date Maintain facility and shop equipment; Maintains a clean and safe working environment at all times Process all paperwork regarding equipment damage and report to management Proper disposal of hazardous waste materials Follows and adheres to safety rules, regulations, and proper use of equipment that pertains to each job skill and qualification All other duties as assigned for when vehicles are slow - doing deliveries of bathrooms, and other rental equipment Must have clean driver record and be able to drive cube, stake bed, or other equipment Some warehouse work when needed Qualifications/Experience: Flexibility to support rental operation during non-business hours (i.e. holidays, weekends, and evenings as needed) Carpentry / Remodeling experience (preferred) Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously Must be detail-oriented with the ability to meet or exceed deadlines Experience, knowledge and skills of the methods, materials and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of various types of equipment and power driven tools Working knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade Physical Requirements: Physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. Heavy Work requires the ability to continually life, push, or pull at least 50+ pounds of product. Physical activity requires, but is not limited to: climbing, crouching, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motions, standing, stooping, talking, walking.
