warehouse/Driver Job Summary: The Warehouse Staff/ Driver job description is for safely and efficiently loading, unloading, delivering and picking up equipment to and from our facility. They are also tasked with cleaning, testing and maintaining a positive attitude Warehouse Staff duties: Accurately and efficiently pull equipment, test and clean if needed Check and test all equipment to ensure proper functioning when it comes back from a client. Test all mechanical and electrical equipment before it goes on rent. Work with clients on the check-out and check-in process of equipment Help management with maintaining accurate counts on a day in and day out basis so all orders are filled appropriately Communicate customer requests, order changes with manager Safely operate lift gates and material handling equipment to load, unload or prepare equipment Load and unload trucks following all proper lifting, and pushing Properly assess and complete minor repairs to equipment when able Maintain a clean work area at all times Driver duties: Delivery and pick-up of equipment Safely operate lift gates and material handling equipment Load and unload trucks and safely strap-off cargo following all proper lifting, pushing and pulling techniques Work with clients in the check-out and check-in process Accurately and thoroughly complete all paperwork Read and follow road maps Follow delivery route instructions to ensure on-time delivery off equipment to the client location Immediately report any issues/problems Maintain cleanliness of all company vehicles Operate all company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner All other duties as assigned Working Conditions: Work activities will regularly include working outside, in inclement weather, with exposure to extreme temperatures, areas of poor visibility, wet and/or humid conditions.. Noise level in work environment can be loud and cause sound vibrations. Dust, mechanical hazards, moving objects, hazardous chemicals and operating vehicles will also be present in work environment. Heavy work: requires ability to continually lift, push, and pull 50 pounds of product individually and occasionally in excess of 100 pounds up to 160 pounds of product in a team lift. Physical activities required of this job include, but are not limited to: bending, carrying, climbing, crouching, feeling, finger movement, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, rapid work speed, speaking, reaching, repetitive motions, seeing, sitting, standing, stooping, talking, twisting, walking, and walking on irregular surfaces. Required Experience and Abilities: Experience operating material handling equipment Ability to effectively communicate with other team members and clients Ability to work 24/7 and overtime as necessary Possess a valid driver's license and excellent driving record High school diploma or equivalent education and related experience Ability to perform all duties in a safe manner and in alignment with Company policies and procedures
