So we bought an older house and had a few issues. Had a plumber out yesterday who fixed a couple of things, but made the bathroom sink worse by snaking it. Basically, it drained slowly before and now, after snaking it almost drains not at all (water just sits there). He said there's rust and calcification built up somewhere (only like 4-5 feet in the pipe, and not affecting any other sinks or drains).
He said basically we need someone who can scope it with a camera to break that stuff up without damaging pipes, or some kind of pressurized system to flush that out. Can you do this? Sounds like with the right tools it should take minutes, but he didn't have the right tools.
Will pay $100 upon successful completion of this work (had to pay someone already yesterday to basically make it worse, so gonna base this on success). To be clear, the work is: Make our sink drain properly without damaging our pipes further.
