Archer is a 2-3 year old purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who was rescued from a shelter. He weighs 17.5 lbs. Archer is currently fostered in a home with another dog and has previously lived with other dogs, but like most CKCs, loves human attention and affection, so he could also be an only dog and be totally doted on! He has luxurious locks that will require regular brushing and upkeep so he can sparkle as his shiny best self (and not get any mats). Here is the report from his foster home! "Archer is a total lover boy. He's a velcro dog who is always by my side and likes to be with me, no matter what I am doing. If I'm working, he'll lay by my feet or on a dog bed nearby; when it's time to Netflix and chill, Archer can be found snuggling with me on my recliner or next to me on the couch. He loves getting his pets in whenever he can! If you stop petting him before he's ready, he'll give your hand a little lick, as if to say, keep going! He's a sweetheart and will make you feel loved at all times. Archer sleeps in a dog bed next to my bed and wakes up when I get up. He has free run of the house and uses the doggy door as needed to go out to the yard for potty breaks. He does not have accidents in the home. While I work, Archer will alternate between playing with my dog and snoozing on the dog bed. After work, the three of us will take a walk together before dinner time." Archer is a pretty low maintenance dog all around. He doesn't need a ton of exercise; his love language is pets and affection! He's a cuddler and a snuggler. He's what people would call a great "family dog." Archer is an option for almost any type of home with prior dog experience. He's an option for children over the age of 6.
