Many people believed Nixon to be innocent and an American loving patriot too while hearings revealed conspiracy by republican witnesses under subpoena. My parents died with the belief that Nixon was forced out of office by devil worshipping democrats. They were called Red's or Commies at that time. My parents and many other people never escaped from that belief and died believing they were right.
