Hiring event is located in the Goodwill Job Connection Center on 22nd and Kolb. Wednesday August 17 from 9 AM-11 AM. We are looking for “Concrete Reinforcing Steel/Bar Ironworkers, (Rodbusters) who place “Rebar” and “Post Tension Cable” (PT) for cast in place concrete, “WE DON’T WELD.” If you don’t have experience, we offer a free pre-apprenticeship training class we call the Gladiator training program, a 3 day, 8 hour class (24 hours) where basically everything you would do as a Reinforcing Ironworker apprentice for the first six months of employment on a job site, we pretty much cover in our training. When you complete the program, we’ll send you to a contractor who after a successful interview and drug test, will hire you at a minimum of $18 per hour with an evaluation every 30 days where you can potentially earn $1 raises per evaluation.
