Join us as we celebrate of Jumuah At Masjid Al-Earth. “Jumuah at Masjid Al-Earth” is an exhibition Showcasing artwork by black Muslim artists who were forced to create in their own homes during the pandemic. Covid-19 not only forced us inside of our homes but forced us to read imagine how we engage with community. Community is very important to the black Muslim. Therefore what was once a jovial event held every Friday became an in-house event for 2 years. This exhibit features artwork from Black Muslims and explorers the concept of the Earth being our Masjid and how you don't need the same for a walls in order to glorify your creator. “Jumuah at Masjid Al-Earth” is an multimedia exhibition showcasing Black Muslim Creatives from around the country. This eclectic and diverse exhibition reimagines the concept of the Masjid and expounds on the hadith (saying) of Muhammad the Prophet, “The Earth has been made for me a Masjid.” Artists Exhibiting: Tasneem Maryum Ihsaan Aziz Malika Ayyubi Christina Roundtree Tasleem Jamila Malikah A.
