Learning How! means Business as we help children develop important life skills, be all they can be, and chase their dreams with confidence and conviction. This will be our first annual pitch day hosted in an amazing space, The Harlem Theater. The Harlem Park Theatre was originally built as a church for a congregation that had outgrown the size of their existing building. Construction on this Romanesque-style building on Gilmore Street began in the summer of 1902. The building had a Port Deposit granite edifice and was considered aesthetically modern at the time of construction, designed to be an ornament in the neighborhood. More importantly, it is now owned by some amazing folks you need to know!!!!
We want to help you get familiar with this cultural space that provides our students with rich learning experiences that cultivate an understanding of themselves and their unique history.
Let's make it a little more interesting! If your child 7-17 has a business to pitch, register to win.
Please join us for our annual pitch day where each student will present their business.
