Warehouse Logistics/Cleaner Needed

Aloha, Maui Vacation Equipment is currently looking for an equipment cleaner and logistics person who would also be interested in cross training as a delivery driver. Rental equipment includes baby, beach, snorkel, camping, bedding and mobility equipment. The warehouse where you would be working is located in North Kihei. The position is approximately 15-18 hours per week, but that could increase as we become busier if you would like to extend your hours. Days needed would be Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Your daily start and finish time can be somewhat flexible based on the duties of the day. All cleaning supplies and equipment, are provided. The vast majority of the time, you will be in the warehouse by yourself, so you must be able to self manage and priorities your duties. Duties include cleaning equipment (60% of the work), organizing the warehouse (10% of the work), and packing up items to get them ready to be placed in the van for delivery the following day(30% of the work). As a note, packing items for the following days deliveries is a very important aspect of the job, as you need to be very thorough in your ability to choose the correct items, quantities, and of course, ensuring the cleanliness of the items. We would prefer an applicant that is interested in cross training as a delivery driver. Starting pay is $21 per hour + tips (tips are pooled between driver and warehouse person). Must be able to lift 55 lbs. Must be very detail oriented and trustworthy. Helping the team succeed as a whole is a key mindset for our small company. Must be a tidy person. Must have a cellphone (to clock in and out of work). Must pass a background check. This is an employee position, so we do not pay cash (under the table). Some rental items must be carried up stairs to the mezzanine for storage (not anything 55 lbs+).
