Join the movement to help house Ukrainian refugees in Europe To help respond to the overwhelming need for safe temporary housing for Ukrainian refugees fleeing the war, Palaces for People rents underutilized hotels, castles and other large buildings across Europe and provides them to local nonprofit partners to house and care for refugee families, at no cost. Lost City is partnering with The Jewish Community Center, First Baptist Church, World Central Kitchen and several others, to raise money for Palaces for People.  Join us for a fundraiser Thursday, September 1st. The event will include live music by many local favorites, including: Bluebook, Claire Heywood, Hunter Burnette, Kid Reverie and South of France! Cocktails and drinks by the Lost City Bartenders and food by Sylvia Hernandez, a graduate of Comal Heritage Food Incubator. Parking is free - please park in the overflow lot on the southwest side of the Taxi complex and avoid parking in any spots marked for residents.
