We’ll gather to mix + mingle at 6:00, then by 6:45 we'll sit down for three presentations by our special guests. Audio creator Katie Semro will join us via Zoom from New Hampshire to talk about Ableton Live, which she learned in order to create music for her own audio projects. Producer Lori Mortimer, creator of Mementos, a show she scores herself, will talk about her own composition and performance process. Composer Joel Roston will talk about how he created the theme music for the podcast Deep Tech, which Sonic Soiree's Wade Roush, produced in 2020 for MIT Technology Review. The Aeronaut Allston Zone 3 Beer Garden will be in full swing that evening at 267 Western Ave., so feel free to arrive as early as 6:00 pm and grab a beer! Note that you will need to show ID in order to cross the parking lot and access the Podcast Garage, even if you don't plan to drink. ** We’ll cap the number of people attending. Masks and proof of full vaccination are required.**
