Who will bring home the GOLD? The 9th Annual Youth Peace Olympics Closing Ceremony, “Peace, Purpose, Progress”, will be happening on August 27th at the Louisiana State Police Training Academy Auditorium at 1:30 PM!Come Out and Celebrate!This event will be emceed by Frederick D. Bell, who is a Senior Associate at the Hub Project and currently serves as a Youth Peace Olympics Ambassador. The event's keynote speaker, Donovan "Action" Jackson, previous news reporter and current Public Information Officer with the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office, will be speaking on this year's theme of "Peace, Purpose, and Progress".  Performances will include Youth Peace Olympians and special guests. Light refreshments will be served immediately after the ceremony. Please join us! See you there!!! This event is totally free! The Youth Peace Olympics (YPO) seeks to educate and empower youth to make healthy lifestyle choices, curb violence, and encourage their peers to do the same!
