Description

ASIST is a 16-hour evidence-based workshop that teaches participants how to support individuals experiencing suidical thoughts and best practices for helping those at risk of suicide stay safe. Although many healthcare professionals use the skills taught through ASIST, anyone ages 16 & up can use this approach. This program is presented by SJC Cares and made possible for the generous support of Beacon Health System for residents of St. Joseph County, Indiana. Course value $200. Participants must be present for the entire workshop over two consecutive days.
