Explore the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual benefits of developing a regular journaling routine. Veteran journal keeper and published author will explain the many benefits of regularly recording your experiences, hopes, and feelings as you journey through life day by day. You will learn why journaling is good for you and various ways to approach this health-enhancing habit. The session will allow time to practice. You are NOT expected to share what you record with anyone. Private journals help us make sense of the twists and turns of life. Bring your own writing supplies and questions. We will use the book, “40-Day Journey with Kathleen Norris” as our tour guide. The book is available through the author at www.HowWiseThen.com, but you do not need to purchase the book to benefit from the workshop. Kathryn Haueisen is a retired pastor, author, and speaker. Her career has included parish ministry, serving as the Executive Director of a faith-based summer camp and retreat center, leading capital campaigns for congregations, and writing. She has published dozens of magazine and newspaper articles and six books. She lives in Houston with her husband and spoiled rescue poodle.
