There is one restroom, which is gender neutral, and it is wheelchair accessible. It is located 2 blocks (.2 miles) from the 14 St-Union Square subway station. The station has an elevator at the northeast corner of 14th Street and Park Avenue South (Union Square East), which can be reached on the L, N, Q, R, and W trains. Nearby bus connections include M1, M2, and M3, M14A Select Bus Service, and M14D Select Bus Service. The venue, while on a busy street, is quiet inside, and we will be the only group using the space. The lighting is not very intense, and the environment will be scent-free. We will have microphones for use, as well as a projector. Lunches will include protein rich options for vegan, gluten free, and nut allergens. We have three tiers of pricing to allow for scholarship tickets. If you would like to discuss further pricing or scholarship options, please contact the organizers. We will have a peer support team on site to assist with any emotional support that may be needed during the event. We will have two quiet areas, in two small rooms that also have beds in them. The beds take up most of the rooms, so they may be difficult to navigate for some. There are also two parks nearby that can be nice to visit (Washington Square Park and Union Square Park). Please tell us if you’d benefit from accommodations for hearing, sight, or other access needs. Seating for most sizes and bodies provided. What else would make this event better for you? Please reach out to our planning team at [email protected] if you have any disability-related concerns accessing the Unconference, or would like to share ways we could make this event better for you. RIDE/ROOM SHARING: The organizers are providing for attendee communication/cooperation but cannot take responsibility for these logistics. There will be a spreadsheet provided in an email. This is being run as a non-profit event. Any surplus funds will be donated to charity. We acknowledge this event is taking place on Lenape land
