What happens when you build a home? First, you lay a solid foundation and build upon it. Our nation's forefathers built this nation on the foundation of faith, "In God We Trust," and built on that foundation the Pillars of Church, Education, Government, and Business. Our nation and our constitution were established on faith; we believe they should stay that way. Reviving Leaders Where Leadership Began Texas Leadership Summit (TLS) founded in Washington County, the birthplace of Texas stands for faith which provides freedom in the Pillars of Church, Education, Government, and Business. We refer to these pillars as the "Focus Four." These pillars have been taking blows from those who wish to remove faith as the foundation of our nation. Before time runs out, we need to address the issues of those destroying these pillars and equip believers to fill in the cracks and stand firm as the leaders of our nation. Biblical Thinking, Biblical Response! Are you not tired of the media and culture trying to pollute our thinking? This has caused believers to be passive in evangelism and feel useless, isolated, lost, silent, and without hope for our state and nation. Today's believers need to know that they can be faith-based leaders and impact change in church, business, education, and government. TLS will equip the leader Texas needs now and develop the leader Texas needs tomorrow. We encourage leaders to adopt the "Focus Four." We want leaders to have righteous thinking based on God's word leading to righteous responses impacting their family, friends, and followers. It's time that leaders talk to other leaders and address the real issues. TLS is creating a network to unite like-minded people. We aim to start equipping, informing, teaching, developing, and creating leaders to stand for biblical truth. That truth is what our founding fathers built this nation on. How are we going to accomplish this? We are developing a network for leaders to access biblically-based resources and apply them to lead well. The digital network will give the necessary tools for leaders to grow in their faith, collaborate with other leaders, and know how to deal with real issues that impact them. How will John, the businessman, know how to handle wokeism in his business? How will Mary, the educator, understand how to minister to a transgender student and have compassion for the parents? How will Tom, the pastor, handle crucial issues with his congregation? How will Susan, the politician, lead in a cut-throat occupation with her faith? By applying concepts and methods they learn on the TLS network. There is more. Our goal is to establish five in-person events throughout the year. We will start with an annual leadership summit beginning on October 8th, 2022, and four additional one-day events in 2023 to dive deeper into each pillar. Influential, biblical, and dynamic leaders will speak to the structural components of each "Pillar." We hope to have 1,000 leaders connected via in-person events and the network in a year.
