Dunk’s Mushrooms dinner's are back on the calendar, just in time for some fresh foraged goodness from our local New Hampshire forests.
Now that we have had a little rain, Dunk will check his local spots and see what might be available for wild goodies. Chef Keith Wilson will work his magic and prepare a dining experience focused on both wild and cultivated mushrooms. Every bite of this four course meal will spotlight the flavors of fungi in unique, unexpected ways.
With almost two decades of experience throughout the Seacoast at such eateries as Blue Moon Evolution, Surf Sushi, and Ristorante Molise, Chef Keith Wilson’s kitchen background is diverse and expansive. He has always believed where food comes from is equally as important as how it’s prepared. His life and work reflect a dedication to local organic food, sustainable sourcing, and respect for nature itself.
Dunk’s Mushrooms Products and Foraging in Brentwood, NH provides quality mushrooms to restaurants, stores and farm stands all over the seacoast, has a retail shop open 6 days per week, and a licensed commercial kitchen ( Dunk’s Kitchen ), where we process all of our mushroom based frozen and shelf stable products. We also make and package other products for local businesses and farms.
For this private dinner we will welcome 16 quests into our working farm. You will be seated at a family style table just feet from where the mushrooms grow and are harvested. We also have 2 pairs of VIP tickets available to sit in the kitchen and watch all the action while enjoying your meal. VIP tickets include a special, fifth course. As always mushroom coffee will be brewing, ice water flowing, but, you are encouraged to bring any beverage that suits your fancy.
This is a B.Y.O.B event.
