The Manchester City Library is going to be hosting some screenings of the original Star Wars Trilogy in the auditorium. These will be the original theatrical versions of the films based on the widescreen laser disk version which you can't see on Disney Plus or buy on Blu Ray. Starts with Star Wars: A New Hope on Thursday August 18th at 5:45 PM. Probably the closest way to experience the films as they were seen in the 70s and 80s. Aug 18th, 25th and Sept 1st at 5:45 PM.
