CITY OF CHANDLER DOMESTIC VIOLENCE COMMISSIONcordially invites you to the 14th Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Event"Ready to Soar: Honoring Military Survivors of Domestic Violence"Tuesday, September 20, 2022The Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Event will be a kick-off to the National Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October. This event brings local agency representatives, community partners and residents together to raise awareness about the prevalence of domestic violence in our community. This year, the Domestic Violence Commission will be featuring military survivors and presenters who will share their personal stories of domestic violence. Join us for a powerful morning aimed to bring awareness and prevention. Please RSVP by 6pm on September 13th. Space is limited. Date/Time:   Tuesday, September 20, 2022 (Doors open at 9:45AM and program begins promptly at 10AM)    Admission: Please consider donating travel sized toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, soap, and feminine hygiene products). All donations will be given to Operation Shockwave - A resource center for veterans transitioning following military duty.
