Join UF/IFAS Extension Polk County Master Gardener Volunteers for a half day of gardening topics to help you create a thriving garden! Participants who attend all four classes during this event are eligible for a drawing for a "Back to Basics" gardening package. Must check in for the event and be present to win. The winner will be announced at 12:00 PM at the location of the classes and workshops. Class Schedule: 9:00 AM: Getting Started (Plan, Plant, Plants!)10:00 AM: Watering the Right Way (Demonstration on calibrating your sprinklers.)10:30 AM: Veggies for Beginners (Tips for growing your own vegetables.)11:30 AM: Starting Your Own Plants (Hands-on basics of plant propagation with seeds and cuttings to take home.)Workshop presented by UF/IFAS Extension Polk County.
