You are invited to join us at Circle B, for our first Nature Fun-Day of the 2022-2023 School Year! This Nature Fun-Day, "Nature & Literacy," will celebrate, nature and how it inspires writers and artists alike! Stations will be set up all around the center and each one will focus on a different nature-themed children’s book. Each station will also incorporate a craft that goes along with its respected book. So come learn, create, and discover with us as we explore nature and literacy!
Nature Book Read-a-Loud: During the event, several of our selected nature-themed books will be read aloud in the Nature Center. These read-a-louds are open to readers of all ages!
10:20-10:40am: "The Kissing Hand," by Audrey Penn
10:40-11:00am: "Tad," by Benji Davies
11:00-11:20am: "Kase Learns to Fly," by Laymon A. Hicks
11:20-11:40am: "Mushroom Rain," by Laura K. Zimmermann
11:40am-12:00pm: "Water Dance," by Thomas Locker
Book Bridge Bus: The Book Bridge Bus will also be joining us to celebrate and each child will be able to receive a free book!

Location: The flexi-pave trail leading out from the Discovery Center. Around the picnic pavilions. (If rain is forcasted the morning of the event, stations will be move into the Nature Center.)
