Join Quilt Pink for a fun walk or run at the Zimmerman City Park. Navigate through the trees following the pink bra markers with surprises along the way. Your participation will help Quilt Pink support those in the battle with breast cancer, as we sew quilts and other items that can be used during therapies and recovery. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Go it solo or gather a team. Who will you run for, honor, and support? Prizes for best individual and team costumes so here's your chance to dig out those crazy pink boas and tutu's and bling! You know you want to! After your race enjoy a free pancake breakfast provided by the Elk River Lions. All participants receive: *a T-Shirt * a FREE pancake breakfast (your crew can purchase extra ones for $5.00 each, children under 2 FREE). * a chance to win sweet door prizes provided by our fabulous sponsors, take your picture at the "selfie stand", and meet some local celebrities. *a very cool place to Walk Walk Walk in Honor, support, or remembrance of a Sister, Mother, Friend, Grandmother, Dad, Grandfather, Aunt, Teacher, Neighbor... Family and Friends are welcome to cheer you onward. Kids games, music, festivities, and more! Come rain or shine we'll see you there! We give quilts and care packages that include items to use during chemotherapy and healing at home... lotions, candy, coloring books, inspirational books, "bling", dammit dolls (because!), knitted knockers (used by those who have had a mastectomy), 1/2 moon pillows, and other items.
