Homewood Cleanup with DLC BRIDGE and Grounded

Join Grounded Strategies and our CommunityCare stewards, along with Duquesne Light's BRIDGE BERG for a community wide cleanup that will help to enrich and enhance the efforts of our CommunityCare Homewood program and it's community stewards. During this event we will be cleaning up trash, weeding, planting and mulching. We recommend wearing sturdy shoes, using sun protection, and bringing a reusable water bottle! We will provide gloves, bags, buckets, garden tools, and everything needed to get the job done! Thank you for participating with Grounded Strategies. Please read the following information: Release and Indemnity By signing up for and participating in this event, I agree to release Grounded Strategies, employees of Grounded Strategies, and the property-owner (collectively, "Grounded") and agree to indemnify and hold Grounded, harmless from all claims, damages, or actions of any kind which might result from my participation in or attendance at Grounded's volunteer days, programs or events, resulting from any of Grounded's acts or omissions whether negligent or otherwise. Communicable Disease Policy 1. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; 2. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, even if arising from the negligence or fault of the Released Parties; and 3. I hereby knowingly assume the risk of injury, harm and loss associated with the Activity, including any injury, harm and loss caused by the negligence, fault or conduct of any kind on the part of the Released Parties. Photography and Video Release I hearby give permission for Grounded Strategies to use any image or video of my person in any of their publicity materials unless specific indication is received.
