Description

"Mame" is a size classification in bonsai. The word means "bean" in Japanese, and these little beans are just adorable!!! Workshop participants receive a ONE YEAR OLD dwarf jade (portulacaria afra) pre-bonsai tree grown in special soil for this particular project, as well as a colorful ceramic pot! (soil and substrate, wire are included as well as the use of instructor's tools during the workshop) Most importantly, attendees will get instruction to style and care for their very own miniature, dwarf jade bonsai tree in detail over ninety minutes. Participants have use of the instructor's tools during the workshop and receive the most important workshop aid of all: BEER! One of the many, well-crafted beers from the ever changing Conshohocken Brewing Company draft list is always included, so you must be, or be with someone who is 21 to attend this event!
