We are looking for an organized and motivated warehouse worker to join our team. Full time / 8:00-4:30/ M – F Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Start Date – Immediately Location - West Babylon, NY Warehouse Worker Duties and Responsibilities: *Move inventory and materials throughout the warehouse/shop *Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care *Process inventory for deliveries/pickups *Sort, organize, and store inventory in proper location *Package items and label correctly *Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors *Stack and organize large bulk items *Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse *Remove inventory from trucks for shipping and/or delivery *Move materials from storage to pick-up area or other locations *Ensure work space is free of debris and remove safety hazards *Ensure warehouse areas are neat & clean at all times *Work as an active team member to complete team goals *Assist in organizing and maintaining up to date records of inventory *Integrate best safe practices in handling warehouse materials Warehouse Assistant Requirements and Qualifications: Experience with lift gate and electric hand jack Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to work independently High attention to detail and monitors quality/quantity of inventory Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state.
