Professional Tribute Band

I am putting together a professional tribute act. I have not settled on the band we will pay tribute to yet, mainly because I want to get feedback from responders as to what band they would most enjoy replicating and what instruments/vocals he or she can contribute to such an act. I will be a participating vocals member of this tribute band and possibly its drummer or percussionist. I say possibly because I want drummers to respond as well. I wouldn't want to miss out on a great singer who happens to play drums. I can move out of the way. I will also be managing this endeavor, as well as securing some studio recording time for our professional demo, and more. I have nothing I am leaning towards yet, but I will list a few of my fav bands I would not mind doing...Beatles...Eagles...Little River Band...Beegees...Boston...CS&N...Doobies... Steely Dan, and, of course, horn bands, EW&Fire...Tower of Power...Chicago (need lots of people for these tho). I have the rehearsal place, and the "more than adequate" P.A. system for now. So, I hope to get some interesting replies. A lot of weight will be given to any band that gets an abundance of mentions in these replies. I want members to be happy with who we are going to be.
