WANTED: FULLTIME CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS IN ALL TRADES FOR LARGE COMMERCIAL BUILD-OUT A real estate developer working on a large build-out of a commercial building in the River North neighborhood of downtown Chicago is looking for full-time contractors in all trades. The main trades needed are metal framing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, sprinkler system installation, tiling, masonry, and finished carpentry. You will be working alongside our licensed tradesman, and therefore, you do not need to yourself be licensed. But, if you are licensed, that is a plus. Applicants do not need to be proficient in all trades, but applicants who are proficient in several trades are preferred. Individuals are strongly preferred. General contracting companies who only subcontract work out, instead of performing the work themselves, will not be considered. General contracting companies who do not intend to work on the project fulltime for a long time will not be considered. Ongoing repair and maintenance projects on other properties also need to be done. Therefore, a person who has been a general maintenance and repairman / handyman is also needed fulltime long-term.
