Hello. I'm seeking an experienced piano teacher to work with my two children, on a weekly or every other week basis. 1. Age 13, has worked through level 4 of Faber and Faber (six years of weekly lessons) and related theory books. Seeking teacher to work on pop harmony (so she can write basic pop songs and figure out basic ones, like Taylor Swift) and repertoire. 2. Age 10, has worked through level 2 of Faber and Faber (three years of weekly lessons) and related books. Requirements: For logistics, we need to do lessons back-to-back. We can have lessons in-home (midtown Indy) or at your studio (as long as it's not too far from 46205). We are not married to the Fabers' pedagogy. The kids say their arrangements are hokey and square. For the teenager, it's important that you teach harmony, improv, and ear-training rather than just dots-on-the-age repertoire. She wants to play in a pop-rock band and expects to be the arranger who knows the most pop theory. Price: Negotiable, based on your teaching experience, expertise. Thanks for reading!
