CUSTODIAN: The Custodian reports to and is evaluated by the General Manager The Custodian position’s primary function is to perform the core essential cleaning duties of the marketplace. The position requires flexibility in hours and in the assignment directed by the General Manager. The Custodian position requires the ability to inspect and conduct minor maintenance on building, fixtures and equipment. The Custodian essential duties and responsibilities is to perform routine custodial cleaning inside the building and outside the building. The typical duties performed are cleaning, dusting, sweeping, washing windows, changing light bulbs, sweeping sidewalks, removing snow and ice, emptying wastebaskets, removing trash and making minor repairs. The Custodian cleans spills in retail area and basement. The Custodian assists in moving and setting up table and equipment and clean up after large events for the marketing department. BATHROOMS - The Custodian cleans and sanitizes restroom areas, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, walls and floors. Along with washes and disinfects all toilets and urinals.
