Looking for my Drumming mentor

Beginner looking for more seasoned drummer... looking to Jam together or just help a guy along. I have plenty of space in my home, a new set of PDP Concept Maple, Zildjian cymbals and also a Roland E-Drum set which I've been using for practice I tried a couple lessons and both instructors had me spending my time doing theory and rudiments. F'n boring. I get it, Rudiments are important and I've been practicing but have no clue how to jam to music or to take a song apart and play by ear. Reading music is also important but I need someone who has other ideas... how Ringo and the other greats did it... long before there was You Tube or the internet and all without learning how to read music
