PRIMARY FUNCTIONS Perform routine maintenance on trailers & chassis (PM’s & Federal annual Inspections) Inspect various parts of Equipment, including brake systems, landing legs & rear doors Use different tools, equipment & knowledge to properly repair equipment to provide safe and reliable Equipment. Inspect & test repairs for quality & reliability REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS 5 Years work Experience with Trailers & Chassis Must be reliable Must be Self-starter Need to be able to work with Minimum Supervision Must have own personal tools Must have Valid Driver’s License (Preferred A license) Ability to Diagnose & Repair All Aspects of Trailer/ Chassis Repairs Skilled & Proficient @ Welding and Cutting Be able to Fabricate Frame and Body parts (Landing legs & supports) PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT This job requires occasional lifting. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Temperature can range in the warehouse is between 30-65 degrees Fahrenheit.
