She appears to be a flat-coated retriever mix. This gentle sweetheart would be perfect for someone looking for a calm, loving, medium-sized dog. I have fostered lots of cats, but Lorna is my first dog. I can’t believe I got so lucky with my first dog. She is perfect – gentle, affectionate, chill, low-maintenance, quiet…..Pretty incredible – and that’s coming from a cat woman! Lorna is awesome with children, cats and other dogs (all sizes - from puppies to a Great Pyr). She is friendly and curious with them, with zero aggression. She just wants everyone to love her – and they do! Seriously, everyone that meets her gets attached immediately. Lorna is great in the car, perfect on a leash, and sleeps in her crate all night. She is happy in the crate during the day also, even with the crate door open! She is potty-trained and has no destructive habits.
