Local Geotechnical Engineering firm seeks entry-level candidates for potential employment as a full-time Soils/Lab Tech in our Aiea office. Responsibilities include performing soils compaction testing, laboratory testing, and other duties as assigned. Construction experience helpful, but not required. Minimum requirements: * Motivated and dependable with a strong desire to learn * Good technical, math, communication, and computer skills * Follow written and verbal instructions * Possess a valid Driver's License with a clean abstract * Able to travel to outer islands on occasion * Pass background checks to obtain government security clearance (military bases) * Lift and carry 50+ lbs * Fully vaccinated for Covid-19 Medical, dental, drug, vision, vacation/sick leave, 401k and free parking for the right candidate.
