Durbin Creek Nursery is a locally-owned, full scale nursery with a large selection of shrubs, annuals, perennials, trees, sod, mulch, soil, and more! We serve homeowners and landscaping companies alike. We are looking for a delivery driver who can work full-time, loves being outdoors and loves plants. As a Plant Nursery Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the delivery of all products sold at the nursery (plants, trees, soil, mulch, pottery, etc.). The delivery driver will drive a small box truck, and be responsible for the loading and unloading of all items listed above. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday with flexibility to work some weekends during our busy seasons. Should there be no deliveries to do for that day, there will be other tasks needed. Job Requirements: -Must have a valid driver license and a clean driving record -Experience driving a box truck or straight truck preferred, but not required -Must be at least 25 years or older -Must have reliable transportation to work -Must be able to be on your feet for extended hours -Must be able to work in all weather conditions (extreme heat, rain, etc) -Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds -Must have day-time and weekend availability -Will be asked to do installations as part of deliveries from time to time Job Type: Full-time and Part-time Pay based on experience Pay: $14.00 - $16.50 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift 8am - 5pm Overtime/weekend availability Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
