Needing to rehome our boy Max. When we got max we were in a house and that’s not our situation anymore (actually for awhile. We’ve tried making this work for a long time and it’s just not). He needs to be in a house with a fenced yard again, so that’s definitely a requirement for his new family. Max gets along with people and children great. I would suggest no other animals but that’s your call. He lives with one small 24lb female dog and LOVES her -but he has also shown aggression on the leash towards other smaller dogs when we’ve taken him outside. Unsure about how he would do with large breeds. Not good with cats- he is too interested in them and will chase or bark. He pulls on the leash and yells, especially when he sees other animals. He can get overly excited and jump but does very well being told “down”. He will occasionally get into the trash or food on counters/tables if left unattended other times he leaves it alone so just be aware before you leave your ribs out haha! He is crate trained, although we stopped using the crate with him because we just didn’t need to - he usually hangs out freely during the daytime when we work. Overall, even being as much work as he is, max is a phenomenal family dog and I wish circumstances were different and we were in a house, but we aren’t so I am hopeful he finds his new family soon.
