TO APPLY: Summary/Objective The Foreman effectively manages projects as the liaison between ABS’ Field Team and the General Contracts Field Team. The Foreman mentors and provides career development of crew(s) in their installations of specialty products/materials/equipment and on-site-management skills. Essential Functions Onsite Management and General Management Assistance Responsible for logistics, onsite meetings with GC representatives, flow of work and punch list management Attend Project Planning and Core Process meetings as required Provides onsite team supervision and training Responsible for corrections, line out and problem solving at the job site Review Installer notes and manages project issues May fulfill regular and advanced installation/construction duties, including project layout, skills training, on-site/off-site Labor direction, field measurements, job checks, drawing engineering, etc. Provide on-the-fly scope specific micro-training, and work with leads and installers to correct mistakes Daily/frequent inspections for quality control and to reduce punch items Acts as the customer facing liaison in the field on behalf of ABS for the client 2. Lead, Manage and hold Accountable installation crews Responsible for interviewing/hiring and onboarding for open positions on team(s) as requested Coaches and develops team(s) through regular 1:1 coaching sessions and training crew members, as required Succession training for all positions Conducts performance appraisals and salary reviews Communicates and Enforces ABS policies/procedures, safety requirements, and GC/Jobsite rules, compliance. etc. while providing training, corrective action, verbal/written discipline-documentation and terminations as required. Process and approve Time-off-requests, Credit card and/or expense reports for team(s), Tool allowances/Boot allowances, and other processes requiring Manager approval 3.Assist Scheduling and Project Management team in the coordination of required field work based on schedules, onsite conditions, and other factors CO pricing advice Material tracking ASI/RFI review Schedule and manpower review Daily fire-drill management Field task-date management Notes and issues review Punchlist management Responsible for Quality Assurance and Quality Control at the jobsite Provides feedback to scheduler Coordinate deliveries with PMs, Crew Leads and Administrators 4. Review jobs and paperwork for accuracy and consistency Scan for discrepancies Combine drawings for print as needed Pre-installation game planning Engineering of applicable scopes as needed 5. Attends project and ABS meetings as required. Required to conduct team(s) meetings, as needed 6. CS-Acrovyn and Inpro wall protection expertise Train installation best practices and procedures for wall protection systems 7. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, coaching and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); toxic or caustic chemicals (refer to MSDS sheets for detail); outdoor weather conditions, risk of electrical shock; falls from lethal elevations; slips, trips and spills; falling objects; working at high elevations; pinch-point and struck-by injuries from materials, vehicles and heavy equipment. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or Listen. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and infrequently lift or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 40-50 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel Travel throughout the service region is expected with occasional overnight travel to jobsites and off site meetings/tasks as required Requirements Required Education and Experience High school education or equivalent Three years related experience and/or training Additional Eligibility Qualifications **CS-Acrovyn and Inpro wall protection experience** Valid Driver's License & Vehicle Insurance
