POSITION START DATE: As soon as available SCHEDULE: 7am – 4pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break) & may require flexibility to work weekends 12pm – 9pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break) & may require flexibility to work weekends TITLE THIS POSITION REPORTS TO: Managers & Owners BASIC FUNCTIONS: Laundry attendants play a crucial role in the presentation of the establishment by ensuring all textiles are well cared for and maintained. Attendants are responsible for cleaning, pressing, and folding laundry as needed. They may also be responsible for the maintenance of laundry equipment and other duties around the facility. CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Sorting, Washing, folding, and packing laundry. Anticipate and respond to customers’ queries, concerns, and complaints. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION: ● Proven work experience as a laundry attendant or similar experience. ● Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment. ● Ability to stand for long periods and lift and store up to 25 lbs. ● Outstanding organizational and time management skills. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION: ● Must have a strong service-oriented attitude and excellent interpersonal skills (training can be provided for the right candidate). ● Must be well organized. ● Proactive and “CAN DO” attitude.
