Our client, a world-renowned cancer treatment and research center is seeking Logistics Associates. • This is a long-term temporary position with potential to convert to a perm job. • The work schedule is Monday – Friday. • Must be available to work any shift between 5am – 11pm. The normal shift hours are 9am – 5pm & 10am – 6pm. • The work site location is the Upper East Side. • The pay rate is $22.50 per hour. • The facility requires everyone to be fully vaccinated prior to starting (Please Note: This requirement is subject to a request for a legally recognized accommodation.) Supply Distribution: • Ensures that all supplies required in assigned areas are properly distributed on a timely basis. • Checks all orders received for accuracy (e.g.: item and amount) against requisition. • Ensures items are delivered to floors as scheduled. • Monitors and expedite supply distribution as necessary. • Audit department supply storage location using department tools and technology. • Ensures that all distribution areas and equipment are locked and secured by end of shift. Inventory Management • Takes inventory maintain shelf levels in all assigned supply areas per established schedule. • Anticipates and avoids problems by ordering out of stock and depleted items as soon as possible; offers alternatives to out of stock items when appropriate; checks to see if another floor has extra out of stock items. • Identifies overstocked items and returns them to the Off-Site Distribution Center for credit; notifies manager daily of any overstocked items. • Checks up daily on items “on order” and notify manager of critical items needed to ensure most timely delivery. • Identifies fast moving items and monitors them closely. • Suggest changes in shelf-levels to best accommodate the needs of the floor staff. Required: • High School Diploma or GED • One (1) year minimum of medical supply clerk experience • Basic computer knowledge • Intermediate knowledge of handling and receiving clinical supplies • Ability to stand, walk, bend, push and lift medium to heavy weights to a maximum of 40 pounds
