Job Title Team Lead - Furniture Delivery and Pickup Mover / Driver Position Summary The Team Lead’s job is to ensure that all warehouse duties, deliveries, and pickups are handled in an efficient and safe manner. This includes keeping a clean and orderly flow of work thru the warehouse and staging of jobs for the next day’s work, ensuring efficient routing of activity, protecting furniture, and preparing/cleaning the assets of the company, and properly completing necessary paperwork. Attention to detail is imperative in this position for what separates us from our competitors is our superior quality and this position is responsible for maintaining the product to meet these high-quality standards. Also, manage Prime Time’s 3rd Party Logistics warehouse facility which supplies product to other regions. This includes properly receiving and sending of transfers.Drive, deliver, load and unload rental furniture and housewares for set-ups and pick-ups. Clean and prepare furniture for rental. Responsibilities • Maintain cordial customer relations and be respectful to all. • Organize and Route the Truck(s) for daily stops in an efficient manner. • Ensure trucks are unloaded/loaded for the next day activities prior to close of day • Become familiar with the Apartment complex layouts and hours of operation • Ensure all operating procedures are being followed by the delivery and warehouse personnel • Safeguard and protect all company assets in his/her care • Create and promote the company image through the exercise of sound and ethical business practices as related to employees, the public and customers. This includes ensuring that service and quality provided to customers is satisfactory or better. • Maintain a valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance • Develop/Maintain/Improve written procedures for all activities that personnel perform • Maintain and improve inventory system to ensure accuracy and security of product counts • Find ways to reduce delivery/pickups damages thru training and written procedures • Perform deliveries/pickups as necessary with the aid of other install personnel • Maintain facilities as necessary to ensure growth objectives and proper inventory levels • Maintain an adequate staff to handle all business functions • Use technology to increase the productivity of all personnel i.e. GPS, Barcoding • Manage vehicle fleet to ensure safety and limited down time. • Ensure trucks are in good working order and that routine maintenance is scheduled and performed • Ensure all trash is properly processed to the dump or cut up and placed in the dumpster • Understand and know verbally all the sku’s and names of furniture in our lineup • Ensure all furniture and housewares returned are processed according to the procedure manual. • Learn to process all paperwork for sending to the corporate office to close each stop performed. • Maintain warehouse in an orderly and safe fashion. Inform supervisor of any safety issues or anything that may be important to running a smooth operation • Have all employee paperwork completed and returned to corporate as requested from time to time • Manage Prime Time’s warehouse storage facility located adjacent to operational facility. • Be conscience that we want to be the best furniture leasing company in the world and we need to make sure that the product we put in the field is up to this standard. i.e. no glaring scratches, dents, or tears Qualifications • Demonstrate professional behavior and good judgment in investigating problems and working with customers and vendors • Maintain cooperative working relationship with managers, supervisors, and other employees • Reviews employee on a schedule time scale and provides critical reviews and write up as needed • Recognizes and deals with priorities in the best interest of the company. • Does not abuse or take advantage of personal days off. • Provides proper notification of absence. • Reports to work on time. • Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance appropriate for the position and situation. • At least 1-year driving and delivery experience. • Fluent in English language to communicate with customers and coworkers. Spanish fluency is a plus. • Clear MVR and Class C or CDL license. • With a partner, ability to safely lift and carry over 100 lbs. (including up and down stairs). • Understanding of basic use of hand tools and power tools. • Ability to work overtime when required. • Note: this is a Monday – Friday position, weekends are not required. • Competitive pay will be established based on experience including base pay and bonus pay.
