Description
Looking for a trustworthy, dedicated and mature female to move in and support an out-going, cheerful, caring and energetic woman as you would a family member. You should be attentive with an eye for detail and a commitment to always preserve the individual's health and safety. The individual is engaging despite cognitive challenges. She lives with the on-going risk of falling and injuring herself due to an unsteady gait and a medication-controlled seizure disorder. She enjoys her cat, going shopping, going to restaurants and going for walks, especially on nearby Revere Beach. Living with this individual and preserving her independence wherever possible, you would provide hands-on support with food shopping, meal planning & preparation, support with hygiene, and routine management and upkeep of the home. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years’ experience in a caregiver role. Certification in CPR, First Aid, Fire Safety and Medication Administration (will train). Vehicle and valid driver's license important. Non-smoker only. Generally free between 9a-1p on weekdays. You will be an independnt contractor in this role.
