The Black Brothers are seeking musicians who are mature, soulful and over 45 who can play and know Soul, Jazz, Blues, Reggae, Funk and African music. We are not looking for any "Berklee Boys" with degrees and who do not know how to play from the heart and rely on Music Theory. We only want those BROTHERS who can Play and Sing their asses off and who are beyond the theory. We do not need drums and percussion, but sax, trumpet, bass, guitar, piano, organ, flute and vocals are more than welcome. We are inspired by Donald Byrd and The Blackbirds, Doug Carn, War, Santana, Hendrix, Sam and Dave, Sun Ra and more but developing our own sound is priority. ABSOLUTELY NO RAPPERS ARE WANTED!!!
