Duties & Responsibilities: • This position acts as a team lead for one or more groups in the operation of construction, maintenance, removal, and repair of commercial roofing• Assists employees in the actual hands-on work operations • This position leads teams of 1-5 technical personnel and is responsible for maintaining commitments for work order due dates. • This position includes technical direction, ensuring safe practices under hazardous conditions• Reviews work orders and schedules order of jobs to meet due dates. • Determines which personnel to assign to specific jobs and what tools, vehicles, and materials are needed. • Conducts safety hazard checks. • Directs work operations. • Assigns personnel to a job based on ability and training. • Observes performance and provides on-the-job training for both new and experienced employees. • Supervises and directs contract help. • Prepares daily reports and summaries relative to time and materials used and recovered. • Prepares input for mechanized systems. • Conducts tool and material inventory audits. • Conducts safety meetings on a rotational basis and prepares damage and personal injury reports.
