In 2021, Summit acquired a Seattle-area service center, which repairs and refinishes all makes and models of medium, heavy duty, specialty, and fleet vehicles. Our PRODUCTION SPECIALISTS is an entry level production line position. Working closely with the Production Coordinator and Production Manager, the Production Specialist assists with the manufacture of our proprietary truck boxes. This is a critical role to maintaining output deadlines, and filling customer orders. The ideal candidate is able to work and think on their feet. Our WELDING/FABRICATION SPECIALISTS is a skilled production line position, requiring welding skills. Working closely with the Production Coordinator and Production Manager, the Welding/Fabrication Specialists assists with the mounting of truck bodies, and fabrication of proprietary parts or custom order. This is a critical role to getting our manufactured product on the road for our customers. The ideal candidate has previous welding experience, takes direction well, and understands the role safety plays in our quality commitment. The factory noise level may require ear protection. The work area has forklift traffic and will occasionally require exposure to wet conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. Intermittently throughout the day you will be required to go outside in various weather conditions. On occasion there may be a need to lift, carry, push, and pull 75 lbs. Stooping, bending, twisting, climbing ladders and standing for periods of time may occasionally be required. The Routine work hours are Monday through Thursday from 5:45 am to 4:30 pm. The workweek may expand up to 50 hours per week and/or Saturday overtime to meet customer demand. Anyone can climb, not everyone can Summit!
