Start Date: August 15, 2022 Work Hrs: 9 am - 5 pm (for the 1st 3 weeks) 11 am - 7 pm (after the 3rd week) Work Breakdown: First 4hrs - Day Porter type work Second 4hrs - Janitorial type work Job: Day Porter/Janitor Rate: $18.50/hr Schedule: M-F 8hrs/day We are looking for a Day Porter to maintain the building. Your tasks will include mopping floors, wiping down windows, dusting fixtures, and emptying trash. You will also service the parking area and restrooms. During certain seasons, you may need to clear walkways leading up to the building. Our ideal candidate is someone who will take pride in keeping the building beautiful, clean, and comfortable for everyone. Applicants should have some professional cleaning experience or be familiar with cleaning products and equipment. Duties and Responsibilities • Maintain cleanliness of lobby and other common areas • Spot mop floors and place caution signs • Vacuum rugs • Sweep parking areas as needed • Wipe down window glass and elevator surfaces • Dust fixtures, countertops, and other surfaces • Empty trash • Replace lightbulbs • Service restrooms • Perform small repairs as needed Requirements: • High school diploma or GED certificate preferred • Janitorial or maintenance experience preferred • Valid driver's license preferred • Familiarity with common cleaning supplies and hand tools • Physical stamina • Ability to work outdoors • Friendly especially with kids • Preferably Female If you have any questions or clarifications, please let us know.
