Starts September 12th (Mondays from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. for 6 weeks.) It can be bothersome when you can’t mix the color you want to paint. Discover a simplified way to basic color theory. Mix dynamic colors for all kinds of work including landscapes, interior scenes, everyday life, figures and seascapes. Create a mood or feeling with the colors you paint. Develop accurate tools for producing more charismatic artwork. In each class we will focus on a different part of color theory and color mixing with acrylic paint. This series will be helpful for beginners who want to get to know their paints and learn the basics of color mixing or for intermediate painters interested in experimenting with new color arrangements. Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200. Fee does not include materials. A list of recommended supplies can be emailed upon request. NOTE: COVID-19 protocols are in place for the safety of our teachers and students, including wearing masks while inside the building. She transforms and interprets Nature’s patterns and design to demonstrate variety of scale, line, form and beauty she observes.
